Round Two of Wild Turkeys
These were shot at the Fossil Rim Nature Reserve. They are a considered native species to the reserve and are completely wild albeit a bit more used to people.
This one would no move not matter how close I got. I don't know if this is male or female but it seemed to be sitting on eggs.
This one I do believe is the male that was walking close by foraging.

Thanks Emmalou. He/She/It was making it pretty easy. The hard part was standing in the window area of the passenger side door leaning over my roof to take the picture.

Poor guys. I think turkeys and vultures get a bad rap because of looks. Hey, Ben Franklin wanted the turkey to be the national bird. Can't be all bad. Thanks for the comments.

Yeah, the first round was so-so. I really just happy to be able to take pictures of them that day. The second round was just incredibly lucky to be able to get so close to them. I really enjoyed it.
