Thanks, all! My son will be 6 in one month...sigh...where has the time gone?! He's not the biggest fan of letting me really practice on him, so I'm thankful for shots like this!

Really nice shot!! Try cropping in a bit--if you centered it around his face some the chopped off hand wouldn't be so noticeable. It's wonderfully clear & colorful--I think w/ a crop it would be more than a snapshot!

Here's another crop...I would prefer his eyes to be more in the upper left quadrant, but I can't bring myself to chop off any of his hair or head!

That looks a ton better! Try just cropping off a BIT of his head...not much. That will throw his eyes up in the upper 3rd. Just try it--I bet you will like it!

Wow, he is a very cute kid! I have a 5 year old son that isn't much into being my subject either so I know how nice it is to capture these shots!
