since I was early to shoot a softball tourney ,I drove down by the lake & a little fishing pond just to see if anything was going on. Spyed a GBH by the pond . Thought I take some shots even though it was into the light. It got spooked right away when I pulled over. I swear I wasn't that close & besides, there were people fishing just a little ways from it. :dunno

It took off.

I got off several shots only one was pretty good. & I didn't think I got any.
back in the car ..grumble grumble....
what the:huh
it gonna turn around & do another fly by

Yeah, herons always take off going away from you. I think the return flyby is to see if they can poop on you! rolleyes1.gif

    Very nice flight capture! thumb.gif

Nice action captures DB. thumb.gif I would have liked to see a bit of room in front of the 2nd & 3rd flying birds...so they had room to fly into. They seem a tad crowded as cropped. Like the poses, though.

Thanks Mike....I certainly could have cropped it that way. I'm not much of a comp. guy...I tend to like my stuff in the middle. something I should work on.
