Golden Clematis

I wanted to see just how good or bad the ISO 1600 is on the 400D, and wanted to find some way of pushing it to its limit.
The result:
A clematis seed head taken with the camera's white balance set to "cloudy" and shot in RAW mode, and the ISO @ 1600 giving a shutter speed of 1/2000th sec at f/7.1 to throw the background out but still suggest the plant around it a little bit. Taken in bright direct sunlight at around 7pm.
I have to admit - I was really surprised at how well it turned out...
What do you all think?
C&C as always appreciated.
Paul.

Hi Paul, I think it looks fine.... the noise in the background is more noticeable at 1600, but it's still very acceptable indeed
