As some of you noticed already, I'm often occupied with the welbeing of the dogs on Aruba without owner.

The pictures are not the best quality (budget zoom lens), but they tell the story.

Lucky for these dogs that some people will bring them some food sometimes. All dogs shown are homeless.

Here some pictures from 2 / 3 years ago:

Picture # 1: Notice how beautiful and alert those dogs are.

Picture # 2: The whole family have fun in the sun

Picture # 3: Always at least one unfortunate in the family.

Picture # 4: Just a snap

You are right, Dick: these pictures tell the story, and you are doing a great job with those unlucky dogs. clap.gifthumb.gif

A bit sad. Poor fellas - I'd be helping them as much as possible too.

Have you seen any rattlesnakes this year?

    Thanks Socrate.

I'm not doing more than "ring the bell". There is not much more I can do.

    Thanks for looking Matt.

Rattlesnakes? Only in captivity, captured by parkrangers. They captured some decent size rattles, up to almost 40 inch! They all were sand-colored.

For being homeless, they are beautiful dogs, well, except for the sick one. Poor little guy. It looks obviously sick. There are non-profit agencies that help out these strays?

    Thanks for looking Stephen.

Too much animals, too little funds but some are trying to give a few dogs a home. In general: people don't seem to care much anymore about the homeless. "Shoot them all" is often said. yeah...people...

    Dick.

I usually come here and just look around. I had to comment on these shots. Knowing that they are homeless, seeing them play and act like innocent pups made my eyes fill with tears. Especially after all of the turmoil surrounding the "Micheal Vick" case. My dog is a rescue from a local shelter so I know how wonderfully greatful dogs like this can be. I'm sure that if I lived there, I'd have dozens of dogs and my husband would be very upset! Laughing.gif! Thank you for sharing these shots and telling thier sad story. If there is a way I can help, please let me know!

    Thanks!

Yes you can help by making people aware of the facs. You can organize presentations, slideshows, picturebooks, etc. thumb.gif
