Do the bulbs in the flashes ever wear/burn out?

If so can they be replaced? or do you have to trash it and buy a new flash?

I'm tied closly to Murphy...or Murphy's law...if it's going to happen it Will happen to me..at the absolute worst possible time!

Modern xenon flash bulbs/burners are much more durable than older brothers 20 years ago.
Anyway failure may happens, no big deal - you can replace for new at service without any problem.

I wouldn't worry too much. I have a Vivtar 283 from 1970 and it's still flashing. 9496500-Ti.gif(I've been waiting forever to use that smiley)
