lol... my boss and I had *some of our gear in at work today...lol...

A couple things were on the camera taking the photo... one of the 580s, 50/1.4 or 35/2....lol...

What do you make of the Sigma 30/1.4? Good glass?

IMHO, The 30/1.4 has scratchy MF, soft dark corners at 1.4-1.8. My boss loves it but for the money I prefer my 35/2. I think the only benefit to getting the 30/1.4 would be USM (quieter AF). The 35/2 buzz doesn't bother me and AF is surprisingly fast for a $225 lens

funny thing is my boss and I don't own ANY of the same lenses (anymore). I used to have a 50/1.8 and 70-300IS, but sold them both. Thinking about it... the only thing we have the same is the 580ex...
