Calibrated Camera ICC Profiles

I just read a web page that talked about custom calibrated ICC profiles for camera bodies. It seems to make perfect sense that a calibration profile would be most helpful when working from raw sensor data. Has anyone ever used this, or know where to get the profiles?

As I understand it, the process seems to work by providing the ICC profile to your raw converter and it factors into the development of the image.

Here's a link to what I was reading: http://perso.orange.fr/christophe.metairie.photographie/eng%20digital%20target.html

Thanks in advance!
