Was doing some work with my cheaply hacked TTL flash by manually triggering it when my computer would control and engage my camera. Turned out very well. Some of the detail is amazing. Here are a couple. See the whole set here.

Way too bright for my liking, but I can see how you could have a heap of fun with that set up thumb.gif the detail in your eyes is pretty darn cool clap.gif

Yeah, I was shooting at like F/32 to F/36, it was rediculous how crisp the images came out. The b/w is actually one of the camera settings contrast and all for some reason it does better than I can do in Camera Raw in CS3 and it's very very consistent. I really enjoyed doing that much detail, if you look at the other shots you can tell that there many shots with the flash or my laser near my eye. Suffice it to say I had a headache after firing my flash in my own face(at full power, no less). It was great fun, and the pics have garnered a decent amount of attention on Flickr(yes, I know need a smugmug account, I just can't afford it right now).

    thanks for your comments. :)
