OK, here we go.

I don't do portraits, so this is a rarity...

She didn't want to smile.

She didn't really want to pose really, but I FORCED THE LITTLE BEGGAR TO - erm, no I didn't really.... lol..

This one has side lighting from the window and no fill-in flash but had a white cloth as a reflector to the other side. Processed through Photoshop from RAW.

Opinions? (She has just turned 9 years old btw).

Would love to hear your thoughts folks.

    \Her expression is the spotlight!

I think her expression is great! The only thing I'd change is to light up the right side of her face more either by moving the reflector or having her tilt her head. The shadows on her face are kind of distracting. But, it's a nice shot. I bet her mom loves it!

What a cute girl, i really like how you composed this picture. I can tell that you "forced" her into it by look in her face :D:D:D

Love the attitude. What a great capture. She'll love it one day -- but probably not until she has her own 9 year old. rolleyes1.gif
