This is the street:
where I spent the first seven years of my life,
where I watched a factory burn down from our back yard,
where my Brother was born,
where I lived when first I attended school,
When I lived here:
England won the football world cup,
man first stepped onto the moon,
my Father passed his driving test and drove a Ford Popular,
my Grandparents were alive and came to visit us,
This street is filled with memories of:
many happy hours spent playing in the back yard,
speeding recklessly along the pavements on my trike,
going around the corner to the cafe,
my mother plucking a turkey at christmas time,
This is the street...called simply, Dolphin Street:
