Light Weight Monopod

Does anyone have experience with a light weight monopod, capable of steadily supporting the canon 70-200 2.8L IS (with an extender), and can fold to approx: 12" in length?

I have a larger one that works fine (but it's longer than my camera bag and doesn't strap below without bumping into things). I saw a Manfroto one that was surprisingly sturdy for how small and light it is...but shy'd away until I did more research.

Cost is somewhat a factor (since I have to justify not just using the one I have)...

Any suggestions?

Thanks -
- Gary.

Take a look through the sticky at the top of the forum for some more advice but for a mono-pod, you don't need more than a Bogen for about $50.
