problem with zoomed thumbnails

Today, while going through a gallery of photos, I noticed that some of my thumbnails were odd. All of my thumbnails where previously zoomed to 1x1 ratios. However, these "odd" thumbnails are 1x1 ratio but they are not the usual 1x1 centered crop of the image, they are really small portions of the top of the image (basically looks like a blur of a few colors). What happened?

I am able to click on each of those thumbnails, open the image up and redo the zoom thumbnail to 1x1. My question is how these "odd" thumbnails come about? I'd hate to have to periodically check each of my galleries.

    I've seen this happen when I replace a photo, but doesn't sound like this is the case for you. But at least this will help bump the thread up for you. :D
