You'll need to do something on the lower left to get rid of the obvious border from the superimposed cat portion.. Or maybe it's not that noticable?

I was a tad hasty with the previous photo merge... below are two more versions... one is just cropped tighter, the only bad thing is it crops the tops of the ears…

My Daughter says Appaloosas are very expressive horses because you can see the whites of their eyes…

I also like the second of your most recent merge. I haven't been reading too much about peoples takes on the 'surf or turf' theme. This one hadn't crossed my mind, but I really like it.
