Hi Folks,

Here's where you can find threads that contain information on some of the features that are in active development on SmugMug.

Get Ready To Sell Stock Photos

Advanced Peek: New Add to Cart Interface

SmugMungous - Help us Think Through XL Display Puzzles

Subscribe to this thread, and the underlying threads, either by RSS or by Dgrin thread subscription, and you'll be notified as things are updated by us or by the community :D

Got an idea for a product, feature, or site enhancement? Give it to us, in the SmugMug Features Request Thread.

Of course, if you prefer, you can email it to us.

Thanks!

    Thanks for listening
This thread was obviously started in response to some feedback on dgrin, so thank you for listening.

Hi Andy: How does one go about subscribing to this (or any) Dgrin thread by RSS (I just now noticed the "Thread Subscription" option as I'm writing this, but still don't find RSS...is that the same, or something different)??? I don't see an RSS feed link on the thread anywhere. Am I just not looking in the right spot...or is there a step by step protocol I need to follow? Thanks.

    Hi Andy,

This thread seemed like a great idea at the time (and still does!), but it appeared to fall victim to something or other...not sure what...almost as soon as it got created back in 2006, plus a poke in 2007.

Any updates on current development efforts on things like (dare I mention it?) virtual galleries? mwink.gif

    Papaja,

You dug up a dead thread. This is the current one is sticky here:
    http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=67405

We don't comment much on things in Development. But I can tell you that Dynamic Galleries (what you are calling Virtual Galleries) are very important to us and work has begun.

No idea how I managed to dig it up....I certainly wasn't looking for it...it just "appeared".

Regretably, if you ask me...but I understand (it's "policy"). It just forces your customers (and competitors, too, which I imagine is the real reason for the policy in the first place) to "guess" what you're up to and wonder if/when a feature will see daylight (soon?, someday?, never?).

While I'm guessing you may have already said as much in some other thread (which I missed), this is the first confirmation I recall seeing that actually states "work has begun" on the Dynamic Galleries project. And I can tell you (IMHO) that it's GREAT NEWS!! Thanks Andy.
