Canvas prints - compared to Mpix?

I'm interested in the new canvas prints (both mounted and rolled) I haven't yet ordered one but had a question. I have ordered canvas prints from Mpix before and love the quality. However, the stretched canvas option via smugmug is almost twice as expensive as the Mpix stretcher frame option (although the smugmug rolled and Mpix matboard mounted are comparable in price).
How do the two compare in quality? Note, I don't want this to turn into a price comparison thread, I was just mentioning it to ask if the products were of differing quality since the prices are so different. I understand there is some markup above the smugmug cost - which I have no problem with and which is another topic entirely. Yes, I will ultimately order one to see it first-hand, but at $60 for an 11x14 it's not like ordering a bunch of small prints just to ascertain the quality of various paper types so I thought I'd get some feedback here to start.
