The shots look a little fuzzy to me too. Be careful to make sure you're focusing on the eyes. Also watch for the eye "catchlights", which are great in the last one, but barely present in the first three.

Yea, he certainly does not look happy about sitting there while you shoot him but the last one is much better. Fun stuff...keep shooting! Try not to center him in the frame...get high, get low, get tight, get wide...move around lots. Don't worry about cutting off body parts. The close ups can bring such joy to the family. I've got thousands of mine in just 8 months..
Move the Chair in front of some green bushes, or flowers and take them again. The background isn't doing a thing for the integrity of the shot. Beautful boy, great chair (as it's soooo big for him) just need a blast of color instead of the white siding and such! Try that! :ivar
