Made a return visit to this unique area yesterday.
Tonto Natural Bridge is believed to be the largest natural Travertine bridge in the world. Located about 1.5 hours NE of Phoenix.
Measures 400 ft in length, 183 high from floor to celing, and 150 wide at widest point.

2.
A natural spring has water diverted to two areas
1. Waterfall trail- leads to a very lush area where the spring water falls over a natural travertine cave
3.
The other is over the Southern mouth of the bridge (older photo)
4.
Mint and Raspberries grow naturally in this elevation
5.
The trails are short but very steep
6.
It started to rain which brought out the colors of the rocks in Pine Creek which runs through the bridge
