I just got some wireless triggers for my flash and decided to build a simple lightbox to try out off-camera flash and see if I can apply what I've learned over at Strobist. So far, I am loving off-camera flash and impressed with the results of my first tests.

Here's a pic of my setup, built exactly as described at http://strobist.blogspot.com/2006/07/how-to-diy-10-macro-photo-studio.html

Here's a pic of what I got out of this setup with a single flash on manual at 1/128 power. Simple and elegant technique yields some darned good results.

thumb.gif Good job. It looks identical to the one I built. I used mine for macro photography. Jewelry and coins. I did use three lights and had a lot of my images illuminated near 100% power. The extra light power helped DOF tremendously. bsvirginian
