Macro: Lilly-Of-The-Nile

This year I resolved to learn to take closeups of flowers. Fortunately my wife is an amateur botanist so we have a lot of strange and wonderful plants around the property. Today it was nice and cloudy with even lighting after a brief drizzle, so I shifted into flower macro mode.
This half-opened Lilly-of-the-Nile caught my eye:
