I had the opportunity to shoot this sweet 13 year old girl the other day. She's so tall I had to stand on a bench during her standing shots. I welcome any C and C anyone has to offer.
Thanks Jan and Saurora. Would you believe she was at hockey camp all day so she's also a little tired in these shots? If I had looked like this at 13 years my dad would have been packing heat to keep the boys away.
Growth hormones? Better health care? Decreased ozone layer? Preservatives? I dunno.. but she's amazing.
The girl next door is 12 or 13 and she's the same way. I'm her parents age, so I feel very wrong for double takes etc. Dumb as a post though. lol. Thank God it usually balances out so average looking people don't just off themselves.
The shots are great. I like the bluring of her legs in the first shot. Gives the look/feel of see her head to toe, but then draws attention to her face.

OMG Hindsight, you had me rolling. Thanks for commenting. (BTW, this model is really smart and a terrific athlete, so I guess she's one of the rare humans that has it all).

13.... really...... i would have never guessed! there has to be something in the water geez.
Some great shots i just did a few similar for my sister and her friend last week. I like the angle at which u shot the first one more from the side than just straight on.
I would like to see the first one not cropped quite so close on the bottom - if printed, teh frame would go over her hands. And I'd LOVE to see a smile!!! Or a more relaxed expression. But the photos are stunning!

Thanks everyone for the comments! She's having some dental work done on her teeth so she wasn't giving me a lot of big grins. She was really nervous at the beginning of the shoot and relaxed more at the end. Here's a photo that I haven't edited yet, but it shows that she's missing some teeth in preparation for braces.

Oh, btw, really nice photograph, even without your having worked on it.

Your colors are really nice and the focus is great! It doesn't hurt that you had a beautiful model, too!
