The Best Buy store I work at just turned 2 years old yesterday, so we had a "family picnic" and I took lots of photos for everyone. Some posed, some not :) Mostly not posed...

My favorite photogenic family:

The youngest girl is just adorable and loves the camera:

Lighting wasn't the best here, probably should have used flash, but the boy was just adorable (and of course looked away as soon as I was shooting)

This kid just had the best eyes:

I really enjoy this photo, I took it while everyone was playing volleyball, trying to capture them off guard (since not all of them like to pose for me) he had no idea I was taking this:

This is my direct supervisor (and personal friend since before we worked here) he is the person who always runs away from the camera, but I managed to get this:

They had a lot of fun playing:

My husband looking silly:

Waiting for the ball to go her way:

    Shima,

Nice shots! My favorites are 2, 4, and 5. Incredibly cute expressions in those.

1 is almost there, but the little girl's expression looks forced. You did capture the beauty of the family!

3 is good; it's as bummer the boy looked away.

I like how you tried to capture the volleyball pics with the subjects off-guard. It'd be interesting to see some action shots; I should go look at your complete set. I played a bit of volleyball when I was younger, and in better shape. I miss those days -- both playing volleyball and being in better shape.

    Thanks for sharing!

    Regards,
    Wes

Good shots, i like #6 the best. And #3 has a green cast to it, the little boy is a cutie for sure. All of the "singles" shots are pretty good. Keep shooting! thumb.gif

I'm not seeing the green cast, considering what the original looked like :

This is what it used to look like before I uploaded it, ah how I love white balance fixes in Light Room:

The boy, Sam, was looking at the camera until the moment I hit the shutter! It was a pity, he's adorable :)

Due to the shade, the action pics aren't as good as some of the sunny volleyball pics I used to take a few summers back... but feel free to pop onto my site and check the rest out :)
