Humpback whales

I got to spend a couple of weeks in Alaska in June and had the good fortune to witness cooperative feeding humpbacks on two occasions near Tenakee Arm. I hope I captured some of the thrill.

    Wow, some really cool shots! In some of those, there's so much going on that it's hard to tell which whale part is which...very interesting. #2 and 7-11 are my favorites. Heck, I like them all. Good job!

    Yep. Lindblad Expeditions. Outstanding cruise line. 60-70 passenger boat. They always have naturalists on board. Lots of hiking, kayaking during the trip. You need to be handy with a checkbook :)

    Laughing.gif, I can use a checkbook with the best of em...its trying to keep that NSF guy from putting his initials on them that is difficult.
