really, is there anyone on board that's an NPS member? if so, what are your thoughts? has it helped to expedite your repairs any? any other rants or raves about joining?

    Nikon Professional Services
I have am friendly with a professional photographer in Boston who is a member of NPS. He speaks highly of them. He has used them to borrow equipment and for repair services.

I looked into joining but I don't qualify yet.

    Nikon's NPS page
When I was shooting full time I was a member. It was and is free, although they had membership requirements (as they do now) which were inflexible.

The benefits included equipment loaners, speedy turnaround on repairs (although with no estimates), on-site Nikon equipment and tech people at major events like the Indy 500. Very useful but you have to be a Nikon-using pro with references.
