Was on a recent vacation in Yellowstone and Glacier. We had a great time and saw just about every animal accept a fox. Here are a few we caught.

    Good set.

Those marmots/prairie dogs are everywhere, aren't they? I had one bumping the back of my foot while I waited for Old Faithful to go off.

Mostly I remember moose. I had never seen one up close before and was stunned at how large an animal they are.

That Bighorn almost doesn't look real. That's the kind of pose I'd expect of a plastic version at a Disney attraction. rolleyes1.gif

Thanks all. Shepsmom - the wolf is one of those lucky shots. I was up at 4am driving the back roads and much waiting. Then as I was driving back to the cabin this lady came out of the edge of the forest. I stoped and turned off the engine and slowly setup.

I missed an awesome shot though. She was watching something on the ground and she stood back on her back legs and pounced down with her nose in a hole, scratching and snorting....but I was not ready and missed it. Just means I have to go back. :D

Beautiful shots. Yellowstone and Grand Teton is my next big trip. I hope that I can get as good of shots that you got.
