I took my Honda S2000 out to Texas World Speedway last weekend for a high performance driving event and brought along my camera. I was there primarily to drive and so I didn't take many photos, nor did I try to get a good location to take photos at. But I got about 50 I wanted to share.

My car, ready for first session. Look how foggy it was that morning

I don't know how he did this but he was NOT happy when some clueless specatator parked their car directly behind his trailer.

Beautiful panning work - man I love that Porsche! thumb.gif Nice background info too; I hate that color on the Elise but the design sure is sweet.

I second the great panning! Id like to see how a tighter crop would look.

Sounds like fun. Glad you had a good time. And no, I wouldn't mind having an Elise in the garage, either. Pretty sure that Porsche is a 911, though.

Some nice shots, man that would have been a fun day!

BTW, it is a Porsche 911 Turbo (996 series).

Thanks! Was shot with a 1D Mark II, a 70-200/2.8 and a 1.4TC. I was as close as I was allowed to get but I could really have used more lens! And you guys are right, that is a 911. There was a Cayman there but I got shots of 911 instead.
