I love to shoot cemeteries and would love to see other peoples work. There is so much character in a stone or a landscape of a cemetery so let me see them I will gradually post some of my favorites so please if you have some shots post away. Here are some of my favorites! Tell me what you think and I will do the same for yours. Lets see if we can get people in this forum and talk about this love!

We happened upon this cemetery in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico, while on vacation last month. These are SOC (with smugmug's auto color correction).

The density of the graves was quite surprising.

I, too, am a big fan of cemetery shooting and have many from my travels. I will post some when I can. In the mean time, if interested, I have some on my (smugmug) website here. I'd love to hear what others think of my photos and this most interesting photo subject.

Great idea, Brian. Thanks for bringing it up.

I really like the IR captures of the cemeteries. It really lends them an ethereal feel. Very appropriate. thumb.gif

I've only photographed one cemetary thus far, and that was Pere Lachaise in Paris. If you only photograph one cemetary before you end up in one yourself, this would be it. Absolutely amazing to wander through.

You can see some interesting things in a Cemetery.
I like to read the tomb stones, some people must have spent an absolute fortunes on the stones there.

Thanks for sharing :D ..... Skippy
