...oops... make that the *Adventure 9*...

Big brown truck dropped it off last night. I haven't taken it out and used it yet, but its a nice bag! It'll easily fit a body w/ grip, 70-200/2.8L with 1.4x teleconverter attached (barely), one medium lens on the body (ex 24-70L), 1-2 more small/medium sized lenses (35/2, and 10-22), and a 580ex. There's room on the flap for A CRAP load of CF, a zipper pocket for extra batteries, filters, or whatever. Thats just the camera section. On top there's room enough for lunch and maybe a windbreaker. There's a laptop pocket near your back that's heavily padded. There are two water bottle conpartments on the outside on the sides. The pack is comfortable to wear, well padded, and has a chest and waist trap for when you are really beating the bush. It does not come with a weather hood, but you can get one for 30 bucks from tamrac. There are provisions for a tripod mount under the pack also available from tamrac. I'll be out and about this weekend on a couple shoots... maybe i'll bring this instead of my hard case. All set for my trip to machu picchu and the galapagos next month :thumb

Wow you have an amazing trip coming up. I absolutely cannot wait to see your photos. :D

I had a Tamrac Adventure bag at one point and I really did like their organizational system quite a bit. That is one thing I wish the Crumpler did better.

Of the bags I have, this is my favorite. The only downside is not having the ability to get the camera out without taking the bag off.

Thats true, but this is a bag meant for hiking. My boss has the slingshot and hates the thing. I'd be looking at a shoulder bag for quick lens changes. One with a big broad flap on top that can flip open without removing the bag.
