Here is the first sighting of the single Osprey chick in the cell tower nest. This tower is high and this capture was from about 100ft away. Wish it were sharper and cleaner but conditions are pretty tough. The chick was out taking flying lessons yesterday. For a baby he has a heck of a wingspan.

ray, I was lucky to watch a nest of Ospreys all this spring until the fledge, and they were like 15 ft. from me, so I was so lucky!

They are a joy to watch and I felt privileged to observe, learning so much about nature. Hope you enjoy and that it is close by! You might buy a teleconverter for this one! ;~)

I've been thinking about a 1.4x for this lens but it is not that fast so it might be a waste. When I hit the lottery I can get my 600 F4wings.gif
