So I know smoking is horrible for one's health and it's something that I am trying to kick, but I figure as long as I'm still killing myself I might as well get something out of it.

It's definitely not the greatest picture in the world, but I had fun regardless. :D

They say it's more addictive than crack! :uhoh I think I posted something about it before but Chantix is supposed to be REALLY good. My Dad smoked close to 3 packs a day FOREVER and had no interest in quitting. One of his friends filled a prescription for him and a couple of months later he was smoke free!!!!! clap.gif

I've never heard of this prescription. Do i need to ask a doctor?? To quit, one must be mentally ready for it, otherwise, i don't think anything will work ne_nau.gif

Yeah, just talk to your Dr, I'm sure they won't have a problem with writing you a script. The success rate is amazing and the side effects are low

I (politely) disagree that one must be mentally ready for it....as I said, my dad had no intentions of quitting and when he finally decided to stop taking the script it was because he wanted to smoke and he couldn't enjoy it while on the medicine....that was a few months ago and he is still smoke free, the medicine actually triggers the receptors in your brain that let you enjoy a cigarette....I'm not a Dr. so I sound stupid trying to describe it but you can google it and read all about it.
