I know there are already a couple of shots of this little guy floating around here somewhere, his dad is wannabe1979 (Larry) and I am his uncle so there will probably be a few more. I am posting this shot to hopefully get some c/c because I'm not to sure about the pp, I have looked at it for too long! Any suggestions you might have would be appreciated. Thanks!

Cute kid! Just over saturated.
Good shot, though!

He's adorable but the processing is out of control . Ok, for the heck of it, I thought to bring it into Photoshop and mess around (hope you don't mind). I can only presume you shot this in JPeg as it looks like it. If you look closely, his left eye is purple and right eye blue...unless God gave him two different eye colors, this may not do his photo justice.
The orange (yellow/red combo) makes him looked nuked...so, I did some work for you, albeit the original file would be way better to work with making for cleaner results. In anycase...when you focus...spot focus on the eyes....if you use a wide aperature, say f/2, then if there is a head turn you may lose part of the focus on the deep side of the face/hair/eye, etc. This shot looks a bit soft on the focus end but I did some selective sharpening. Also worked on the eyes for a bit more clarity and pop.....sorry, coffee cup #3 now and I'm rambling....

I don't know if I like this one or not either, but this is my second attempt at processing the image.....is it any better????
