Beautiful portriats as always. Do you ask them to smile for the camera? I particularly like the mosquito and the wasp. What is the surface they are on?
They are so lively.

Question for you Brian about the Crab Spider.
I have only ever seen the tiny, tiny, tiny, ones at my place,
they would easily fit on a pin head they are so small.
Is the one in your picture bigger than that?
I have see some bigger one's in USA eating bees, so I'm curious to know what your finding in the UK
What can I say, your work is always Awesome :ivar

LiquidAir The hoverfly had stopped dead to eyeball a female (I'm not joking).
The mosquito was on the side of a wooden fence and the wasp was sitting on my rear car bumper (fender).
Awais - they are trying to beat the rush for passport photos in September
Skippy the crab spider I guess was just about full grown to give you an idea of size the front outer eyes are about 1.4mm apart. I've never seen these take a large bee but a smaller bee or hoverfly then yes. Body length about 7mm.
Pic below is the same spider sitting on a potentilla bud (about 6mm dia)
