First Wedding......

One of my best friends just recently got married and she had asked me to shoot her wedding. It was my first and I was a little tense in the beginning but got more comfortable as I got some shots down (figuratively speaking :) I only had about 30 minutes to shoot with the bride and groom, they we're late and weren't dressed when they arrived. Overall everyone's happy except for the bride's mom, she said she looked old in the pictures.

Very nice! I'm kind of curious to see a pic of the mom though now since she claims to look "old" I'm curious how "old" she looks... maybe she's just finally getting the realization that she's not as young as she once was since her daughter just got married!

the unfortunate thing about photography (seems to happen in weddings more often than others) is that if people don't like something about themselves physically, that can translate into how they felt about *your* work. its unnerving to say the least!

From this set I'd say you did a fabulous job. My fave is #2, great eye and conversion, and the skin has a very natural texture. 7 is very very nice too!

Where's the rest!? Beautiful bride! Judging by the look of these, mom probably looked just fine. SHe's not supposed to out-do the bride anyway! thumb.gif

You did a great job of capturing their joy. I really like the shot with the motion blur.
