Gosh I haven't taken any pictures in like forever,
so tonight I got the 10-22mm out and terrorized the cat :rofl
Noooo I didn't she was quite the little poser actually :D

This is my Clayton's Cat, you know the Cat you have when you don't have a Cat :rolleyes

This little girl comes and knocks on my front door every night,
we have this understanding, and it works well for both of us.

She's very cute, and very very well behaved :nod

Shot is hand held, Canon 20D with 10-22mm Lens, Ext Flash.

Enjoy .......... Skippy :D

Aw, how sweet! I love her nose... very unusually shiny and orange. She looks kind of grumpy there, which is even more adorable.

I love portraits taken with wide-angle lenses. Great shot! :D

I think those kinds of visiting cats are a good type of relationship. Honor is saved on both sides!

    Hi ya Schmooo,
She had just been washing herself that's why her nose is wet,
and I was like 4-5 inches away from her face.

She was trying to figure out what that little red light was that flashed every now and then rolleyes1.gif

This little one is living a double life I'm sure, between her owners house and mine rolleyes1.gif ..... Skippy :D

Hi David, she has a very cute face, well she was almost going cross-eyed because I was so close to her to take that photo.

Love that Canon 10-22mm iloveyou.gif and even that close being flashed in the face didn't give her Red Eye or Green Eye as animals get.

Nice shot. Glad you finallly showed us your wandering friend. Using that lens was a great idea :D. I'll have to try it with mine ( cat and lens ). So, have you given any thought to what you'll do if she decides to stay with you?

My mom's next door neighbor had two cats. They hated eachother. One would visit my mom every day. Then one day, she wouldn't go home and my mom got a cat :D. They lived together for many years.

    Hi Jill,

I went and spoke to the owners on Sunday night.

Turns out they don't want the cat, and their lease on the house runs out in February 2008.

They told me if they can't find someone to take the cat they will have it destroyed eek7.gif

So I told them not to rush to making that decision,
and to wait till February, then if they still feel that way I would take the cat :D

The Cat has already chosen me, funny how she just showed up one day and decided she was moving in rolleyes1.gif

So I'm about to get myself a little Cat :D
She's already house trained and well behaved, and she loves it at my place and to tell you the truth,
I love it when I come home and see her sitting there waiting rolleyes1.gif ... Skippy

Ohhhhhhh yes indeed I am off to Canada and USA very soon.
The cat will be looked after by her owners, I don't own the cat till February 2008 if they decide they don't want her.

I told the owners I am going away, and they said they feed her anyways.
Apparently the cat is being fed at my place and theirs :D ... Skippy

We have a neighborhood cat too. Apparently she was spayed and cared for, but her owners abandoned her when they moved. My south neighbor leaves food out for her (and the skunks and raccoons too, unfortunately) as well as other neighborhood cats who mooch off him. He has a cat too, but it's an indoor cat. He doesn't let her inside his house at all. And apparently a neighbor across the street also feeds her. Someone is giving her anti-flea treatments too...

She spends quite a bit of time with us, coming in during the wee hours of the night and then going out late mid day. The south neighbor comes home late mid day, and she's always there to greet him! So between our neighbors she's fed and due to us letting her inside, she has a safe place to sleep.

Unfortunately she's come to our door with birds and mice. The first time I just saw her at the door and let her in and didn't pay attention. Next thing, I look at her and there's a dead bird on my rug! Now I carefully look at her, and what's around her before I let her in.

We gave her a bath, she was so dirty from rolling in the sand, etc., and she didn't come back to us for a couple of months after that! rolleyes1.gif

Congratulations on your new kitty! She's a cutie!

Thanks Dee, I'm just glad she's not a kitten, and is already house trained, that's quite a bonus with this cat :D

Glad the cat you spoke of gets fed and cared for by everyone too.

Take care Dee :D ... Skippy
