During April and May this year Worth1000 ran a challenge: shoot a picture a day a chosen theme. The theme I chose was "Things Children Play With." Even now, some three months after the challenge finished it still remains the most popular gallery on my SmugMug, getting thousands of hits every week.

Here are a few of the images I produced during the challenge:

Books (Day 25):

Little People (Day 27):

Wooden Toys (Day 22):

Metal Menace (Day 13):

“Thunderbirds are GO!” (Day 5):

CD Music (Day 14):

Daddy! (Day 21):

No both those images have been done outside of a light tent. The metal menace image took weeks to plan and get right because the lighting is so complicated. But my huge collection of cybermen helped me put this image together:

The thunderbirds image too is outside of the light tent because I wanted the lighting to be more dramatic on the simple set up. I love Doctor Who and Thunderbirds so I couldn't resist doing images about them. Here is an image of a Dalek, this time done in a light tent:

    .

Its just the tkind of thing Woody would do. Buzz falls asleep and Woody takes a marker pen, replaces "year" with "beer", colours in some of his teeth, paints his face red and then paints red veins on his eyes.

The perfect revenge for taking Woody's spot!! clap.gif
