Bee ID needed

There have been these strange Bees around.
ALMOST looks like a Sweat Bee and about the size of a House Fly.

Any clue as to what they are? :dunno
These were taken today on my Wifes Morning Glory's.

    Gorgeous shot! I have no idea what kind of bee that is. ne_nau.gif We have some new, weird bees around here too.

    This is wonder full photos loved the light looks like coming from flower like it just has opened the door of his house !

    These were taken today on my Wifes Morning Glory's.

    Hi Graphy,

    It looks like an Augochlora Green Metallic Bee (Augochlora spp.)
    They are common in your area found right down that side of USA and up into Canada as well.

    Love their colour, and I can see why they are are attracted to those beautiful flowers :D
