I talked to a guy in Wyoming, which has the largest number of antelope in the US states, who happened to be a bow hunter who hunted antelope. He would dress in a ghillie suit and wait by a waterhole for them for hours and hours not moving an inch - they eventually have to have water.
I find them fascinating - they are so fast it is hard to believe at times, and always skittish. 400mm is just barely enough reach for them most of the time. The are much easier to photograph when they have reproduction on their minds in the fall.
Nightingale posted a thread where a female was gored and killed by a buck in the rut a few years back here on dgrin.
