Whew, we took a canoe trip down the river at Mayakka state park here in FL. I promised myself never ever to shoot anything in a bright light. I just couldn't resist bringing my camera along. I know these aren't wonderful at all, but i thought i'd share just for fun

I think you did a great job, especially in the bright sun. It's been so hazy here the last few days that everything anytime looks really washed out. I really like the one of the dog peeking back at you.

Great Pictures.......German Shepherds are my favorite dogs and I have had several over the years.... I took one with me canoeing and we rolled the canoe....when I came up no dog ...We rolled the canoe right side up and there he was.......THANKS FOR SHARING!!!!!!!!!

Isn't it a bit hot for a trip to the park, Marina? Myakka is a great place. Love the gators and birds it has to offer. Did you see the ospreys there? Thanks for sharing your nice shots.

Yes Mike, it was hot!! We got our canoe at 9 and left the place around 1pm. We pretty much beat the 2pm heat . Unfortunately, i didn't see any living creatures, may be 2 turtles. I was very disappointed :cry

Thank you Jan, i'm very surprised how blue this water came out It's actually has redish color to it because of all the leaves, it looks dirty.

Northwest of Atlanta. I believe the haze is due to extremely poor ozone quality (smog). It's fairly unusual to this extent, but 90% of our weather this year has been odd.
