How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks! You don't realize how lucky I was to get that robin shot. They normally spend their day deep in the bush teasing you with their really beautiful songs.

Thanks Stephen. It was quite strange on this trip, normally the coucals skulk in the bush and disappear as soon as you stop - this time we must have seen well over a hundred on our travels, all posing to have their pics taken.

Thanks Ric. This one was just friendly enough to want to pose :D. Normally they sit on the other side of the reeds/tree just to make sure you can't get a clear shot rolleyes1.gif

Thanks Skippy! We have quite a few birds with red eyes, but normally not quite as vivid as the two coucals I've shown here. Could be something to do with spring coming wings.gif
