Ok I am in my free trial period and I am still navagating my way through.I do have a question that deals with emailing.
If I dont want to email the entire gallery ,lets just say 10 or 12 pictures from the gallery ,Do I actually have to go in and copy and paste every indavidual link from just the pictures I want?

I find that odd but I cant figure in any other way to do it.

I obnly have 12 days left to figure smugmug out ,I hope I can do it and with help from this place it may make it easier

    Hi, wave.gif welcome to Dgrin!

I answered you with this same information from our help desk already, too :)

The answer is, if you use our share email, then you get one photo in the email and a link back to the gallery.

If you wish to share other photos, then put them in the email as links, or just tell folks to click back to the gallery. Or you can just use your own emails as well :)

Sorry that it's not the exact answer you are looking for.

    Hi Allan,

I'll take a stab at this as well.

-Are you saying you'd rather let someone see ONLY 10 or 12 photos from a gallery? No can do. You'll need to create two separate galleries: one that you want the person to see, and one that you lock up with a password or make private.

-Or, are you just wanting to draw a person's attention to 10 or 12 photos within a gallery? The share email described here: http://smugmug.com/help/photo-community , will give them a link to the whole gallery, but you're welcome to use the body of that email to indicate which photos especially you'd like your friend to take a look at.

Just to be clear, our cool share email doesn't include a bunch of photos in the email. It just includes one, and then a link to the gallery, like this:
    http://beanland.smugmug.com/gallery/2294251 .

You can always send yourself a share email to see what it looks like. deal.gif

Also, you can just send a plain ole' email to a friend with that gallery link in it: http://beanland.smugmug.com/gallery/2294251 and say "Hey, check out photos 3 and 7." :D

If I missed your question, please try me again! :)

    -Anne

Hi Aunkster, that's "filmstrip" style, you can choose that in your gallery by using the style chooser at the top of your screen.

Yes indeed. But even now, your visitors won't see it (or you,if you log out).

Power or Pro account, both will allow for it.

Both work great :) You do not need any add-ons with Firefox, but you can use some cool ones :)

I HIGHLY recommend SmugBrowser for Firefox. Give it a try thumb.gif

Hop in the SmugBrowser thread for help, Aunk.

You've downloaded it while in Firefox, yes?

SmugBrowser is a Firefox "add-on", click install/download and it automatically
installs. Just close Firefox and restart then look under the "tools" menu at the
    top and you'll find it.

You must do this using Firefox like Andy's says.
