Critique 2 shots for me
THese two I took this weekend. I'm TRYING to start to develope an eye for people shots. I saw one good shot, and asked the two older ladies if they would mind if I took their picture, they said they did... :dunno .. anyway.. .
What can I imprtove upon here??
THis area can be LOADED with good shots, btu cars and people tend to ruin them. :scratch Or it may take a good eye to really notice the good ones.
THanx in advance..
THere was a car on the very left of this shot. I managed to keep it out of the frame.

Your photos are nicely composed and exposed. More interesting light would help, but that's not the big issue. What is?
They don't have a subject. Your chairs are empty, your frames are begging for a subject that completes your composition. In your first shot, the subject would be sitting in the chairs. In the second, they'd be by the stairs, to the right.
As I said, I do the same thing a lot. I see a nice composition. But it takes more than that to make a shot. The piccie has to be about something.
Catapultam habeo. Nisi pecuniam omnem mihi dabis, ad caput tuum saxum immane mittam
