Taken last year during a 4th of July celebration. I enjoy the composure and would expect to see something like this on a cheap postcard at a gas station, except for the lack of landmarks identifying the location. This was from the aquatic park pier in the afternoon with the sun at my back.
Only adjustment was using the Landscape picture style in canon's software, digital photo professional. It greatly affects the saturation of blues and greens in particular. I know the effect is not very realistic, but most folks like to see what is pleasing, rather than what is real. Do you think the effect is too strong in this respect?
