While cooking fajitas tonight I thought of Stan's challenge entry and thought I would give it a try. This is my first time trying anything like this so if it's no good feel free to say so. All comments WELCOMED!!!

no such thing as "no good". this is fun. how about constructung a striped pepper with several alternating slices? if the bottom sllice is green you might better control the light.

I totally agree with Angelo. This pic is fun!

I would adjust the lighting a tad so that there's not as much glare on the green pepper. Doing this would also make the water drops more apparent and defined.

Cool! How about making two exposures, so you can layer in a darker yellow? Do you have a program that can do layers?

Not yet. Right now I'm using Picture It 9. Im picking up Elements 3.0 next week, I really like all features it has without the huge price tag.

Yeah the lighting was just from the kitchen ceiling which isn't ideal. I'll have to try something different, Thanks for the comments.

Use a white bed sheet between the light and peppers as a diffuser to control the hot spots. Will likely need a tripod at that point as well.
