Nasturtiums are either annuals or perennials, but neither hardy in the UK. The perennials, though, are easily dug up in the autumn and kept frost-free over winter for planting out the following spring.


See how at a narrow depth of field, the stamens inside take on the look of prey in the jaw of an alien...

    Your right it does look like the jaw of something weird :D

    This is the kind of flower that would do really well using Brian's
    STACKED FOCUS Technique.

    The Centre of that flower looks like it's very pretty.
