A morning at Cranberry Marsh and Pringle Creek

I hooked up this morning with a couple of buddies for a few hours. We started out with the Cranberry Marsh at the bottom of Halls Road in Ajax and ended up at Pringle Creek in Whitby.

All shots today taken with my 1D MkIIn and 400/5.6L mounted on the BushHawk Shoulder Mounted Rocket Launcher.

Just after arriving at the Cranberry Marsh, this guy/gal blew in over the treetops behind us and I barely had time for a couple of quick 'butt' shots. I'm thinking it might be an immature sharp-shinned but could sure use some help with the ID.

After a short while we wandered further down to come in from the lake side where this GBH made itself available for a few shots.

We then packed up and headed over to Pringle Creek. The morning was overcast so there is not a lot of punch in these shots, but at least there were some opportunities.

One flyover by a small flock of cormorants.

We were then fortunate enough to catch a few inflights of this GBH.

And of course, we need one 'cute' shot.

Thanks for looking.
