Changing to custom domain name, need advice

In the next day or two I will be changing my smugmug domain name to my own custom domain (changing from www.dbrannen.smugmug.com to www.dbphotopro.com). I have some clients and a ton of friends who have received business cards with my smugmug address on them and there are a lot of potential clients who I cannot contact to let them know of the change.
My question is, will smugmug forward attempts to reach me at my old domain name to my new one? I will still be using smugmug as my site, just not the smugmug domain name.
I hope you can understand what I am acutally asking, as I am often not so sure myself sometimes.
