Hi y'all .

I went out yesterday to buy me a canon ef 24mm f/2.8 prime for my 5D.
I allready have and use the ef 16-35mm 2.8L for streetphotography, but I wanted to use something smaller, lighter and les conspicuous as well.
However, when I was in the shop, and put the lens on my camera to make some test shots, I was taken aback by the very strong vignetting at f/2.8 that this lens produces. So......(see follow-up )

So.............. in the end I walked out of the shop with
    an ef 200mm f/2.8 L eek7.gif .

Time will tell if I can make good use of this lens, but what I've seen sofar, makes me happy.
Small, light, inconspicuous, fast and very very sharp.
    Makes sense, no ?
