IR RAW: ACR wb vs camera custom wb.... why?

For my IR shooting I have a custom white balance set in camera and my shots come out of the camera 98% B&W.
That is until I open them in Pshop.... It seems ACR just ignores the camera's white balance settings completely and turns the images red again.
Why??? why does it do this and how can I fix it?

Set a custom WB in CR and save it as a preset to use for all subsequent images.
Raw is essentially Grayscale data, there's no color. The converter and how you control the sliders now determine color and tone (and WB).
WB on camera ONLY affects JPEGs, not Raws.
It also appears you're working with a pretty old version of CR.
