Bought a Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 macro USM off Fred Miranda today for $380. I can't wait to start taking some fun macro shots :D Why do I have a feeling this wont be my last lens purchase either... :cry

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Because they are like lays potato chips. You can't have just one. To bad they aren't as cheap as the chips though. :uhohheadscratch.gifne_nau.gifhuh:cryumph.gif

Any suggestions for a good lens to take to Costa Rica next month? I wanted the Macro for the small animals and such, and I have the sigma 28-300mm for pretty much anything else. I was thinking maybe 200-400?

This is the best quote imho...
I'll be using this lens with a 2x teleconverter. With the 1.5x crop factor, and with VR, I'll be shooting Saturn's rings handheld. Who needs Hubble.
