Anyone have any recommendations for wireless headphones?
Something you could wear for many many hours; not too heavy on the ears; and reasonably priced.

Wasn't sure if this was the right spot for the post. Sorry if it its in the wrong place.

Do you want wireless phones with a base or bluetooth for use with a cell phone? You may want to try Head-Fi.

I used some Acoustic Research wireless phones many years ago (similar to these at Amazon). They were okay, but the analog part of tuning in the frequency got tiring. I got interference around my house, too. I ended up giving them away to my dad.

They worked best doing static activities (not moving around). Since I got them for doing things like mowing the lawn, they just didn't work out. But they were comfortable and sounded good if you got them tuned just right.

I would recommend going to a store and trying a couple. I also had a problem with the first pair I tried (different brand) which didn't fit my head properly and wouldn't adjust enough.

From my limited experience my advice is don't. I have a set that just sits in a drawer. The transmitter wiped out the radio station I was trying to use them with, so made them completely useless. :cry

Thats a good idea. I just don't know many shops that let you try headphones around my parts. We only have best buy. I don't think they have headphones that they let you try without opening the box.

Funny, Best Buy is where I was thinking. They have display models out at the local one which you can try them on. You can also do the (more time consuming) buy one and then bring/send it back if you don't like it.
